The children ran the Marathon in relays, actually covering over 32 miles in total. They just wouldn’t stop running!!

All the participants were awarded a special Marathon Medal-sponsored by The Lord Nelson

At the same, runners of all ages took part in the Nelson Mile Run ncluding Ben and David as 118 118 runners and Di and Elspeth in a Pantomime Horse

On Sunday 23rd April we had a special St George’s Day lunch which was set off perfectly and in appropriate style by a visit from the King’s Morris Men who entertained diners and drinkers outside the Nelson.
